According to my Target countdown widget for Yahoo!, there are only 47 days left in the semester. I find this rather exciting!
Not a whole lot has gone on lately.
Instead of being 3 weeks behind in my Java class, I am now only 1! I find this thrilling. I owe this to my former co-worker & her husband for helping me with 2 assignments last Sunday & my father in law for helping me last night with one. If it weren't for them, I'd have gotten zeros on those 3 assignments (or maybe 50% since I tried but couldn't get the coding to compile or anything remotely close to that ;).
As for the confusion about my Java class well... November 1st (today) is the last withdraw date. My academic adviser got my it cleared from the dean to use my Java class as a substitute for a very easy 3 credit class. Total bullshit, IMO. I think it should have covered the 2 easiest classes. I mean, if I can pass Java then I definitely know how to use the internet and set up my own folder system on my computer. Sadly, I still have to take one really easy class (waste of time & grant money, IMO).
Unless it's a test week for my Web Design I class, I usually have the week's assignment done within 2 days of the new week. This was the case last week. Usually my professor emails me back within 2 days to say "100 out of 100, excellent job." This week this was not the case. I waited and waited. Finally my Java professor emailed me to say I had sent my homework to the wrong professor! WHOOPS! Turns out I'm so stressed about school I not only can't sleep well and have some indigestion problems, but I'm also sending homework to the wrong professors! *embarrassed*
My newest assignment for Web Scripting Languages is a php page. I can't figure it out! I emailed my professor for help on Thursday & he hadn't replied by last night so I emailed him again. I have an email waiting in my in-box. Let's hope it's some help!
I am SO glad you managed to get help with your Java studies. Does it all make sense now?
ReplyDeleteAw, Gen, that would so be something I'd do, sending my homework to the wrong professor. You didn't get down-graded for handing it in late did you?
Uhm, no not really lol. I've figured out what I really need is someone to walk me through every assignment. That's pretty much the only way I can complete the assignments : /
ReplyDeleteLuckily it wasn't late. I always turn in my web design assignments either the day of or after they're posted. I had a few days left to turn it in ;)
